Sigma Airlines delivers food to Somalia
On July 22, Sigma Airlines transported food cargo to Somalia. The flight on the route Al Maktoum International Airport (Dubai) - Bosaso Airport (Somalia) was made on an IL-76T cargo plane (Registration UP-I7601).
Sigma Airlines delivered 30 tons of food to Somalia: canned meat, several types of cereals, milk powder, sugar, and containers for storing drinking water.
The delivered cargo is intended for the local population, who found themselves on the brink of poverty and hunger due to lack of food, which was the result of protracted conflicts in the country and harsh climatic conditions.
Sigma Airlines transports cargo for various purposes to the countries of the Middle East region, Africa, Europe and the CIS. Sigma Airlines is guided by ethical business practices and complies with international laws.
